We are aigdirect.com, the newly-merged company that offers the best of both 21st Century Insurance and AIG. Together, we are a leading provider of personal lines insurance. We have an immediate opening in our Woodland Hills headquarters for a Filing Analyst.
In this position, you will be responsible for the compilation of rate and form filings for the Actuarial and Product Management departments. You will secure data from annual reports, the general ledger, various databases and specific individuals within the organization. Accurate compilations will be submitted to states in which the Company does business to comply with filing requirements. You will keep accurate records documenting timely filing, and maintain proper controls on schedules to ensure the Company meets regulatory reporting deadlines and data quality standards. In addition, you will research insurance regulations for various states and present findings to management.
Qualifications for this position include outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency. Very strong organizational and follow through skills, and the desire to take ownership of responsibilitites are required. The successful candidate will have advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas and skill in manipulating data as required, and strong Word skills. The ability to import data from other sources as well as export from Excel to Adobe is also required. The qualified candidate will be a resourcesful individual who enjoys working independently yet is also a strong team player.
