Financial Account Analyst Reporting & Analysis

I. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Account Analyst of Reporting and Analysis is responsible assisting in timely and accurate reporting of revenue and subscriber information for Comcast networks including E!, Style, G4, Versus, Golf Channel and PBS Kids Sprout. Consolidate and analyze all revenue & subscribers for Comcast's Programming Group's entire MSO account portfolio.

II. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in providing timely and accurate reporting for the monthly close process (i.e. actual vs budget comparisons for subscribers and revenue). Variance analysis for prior estimates and prior years. In addition, provide ad-hoc analysis for Field Sales, Corporate Finance and Comcast's Networks on an as-needed basis. Pro-actively identify and develop added-value reports that would assist field sales in developing solutions to maximize Comcast's Programming revenue.

Work closely with FAM's, FAA's, and Director of Affiliate Revenue to consolidate and distribute accurate reporting for Comcast's Programming Networks budget, reforecast, and LRP process. Responsible for consolidating and analyzing current vs prior estimate variances and highlight risks and opportunities to senior management.

Provide timely and accurate reporting for Comcast Programming Networks key accounts (i.e. top systems gains/loss report, new launch report, negatively repositioning reports).

Develop and maintain exceptional business relationships with both external customers (CAA, Argo Systems) and internal customers (Field Sales/Corporate Finance,Networks) in order to provide superior customer service.

Take a leadership role on task forces and committees designed to improve business processes.

III. DECISION MAKING/ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Financial Account Analyst must be able to work independently to ensure timely and accurate reporting of revenue and subscriber information for Comcast Programming's entire portfolio of accounts. The FAA R&A must be able to work with Affiliate Finance and Field sales to consolidate and prepare annual budgets and reforecast. In addition, the individual works with Corporate Finance to establish policies, procedures and business processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Very Strong Excel skills, proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Medea database a plus.
- Broad experience with database management and information retrieval.
- Strong customer service background.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

V. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: ( the levels of education and previous work experience required to meet the above KSA's, including level and field of degree, other course work and duration and field of work experience).

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 6-8 years previous experience in financial analysis, contract interpretation/billing and
accounts receivable systems. P&L experience a plus.
- Previous managerial experience a plus.
- Cable or related industry knowledge a plus.

The Financial Account Analyst of Reporting & Analysis must be able to manage multiple priorities, timelines and demands of the business environment. Strong financial and business acumen is necessary to consolidate, accurately report and analyze Comcast's Programming Network's monthly actual affiliate subscribers and revenue totals.
