The Financial Advisor plays a significant role in deepening and broadening relationships with existing and new United Bank clients.  The successful candidate will actively work alongside the Retail and Commercial teams to acquire and manage a portfolio of new and existing UBSI clients using advisory and consultative sales skills.  In addition, the incumbent will partner with Business and Consumer Lending as well as Cash Management and the Mortgage Division to provide holistic financial solutions to our clients. The Financial Advisor will develop an annual plan for success in partnership with their partners on the Retail and Commercial teams to roll up to the UBSI annual plan.  It is expected that this plan will include activates to proactively seek business through referrals from existing client relationships and external networking opportunities.  Accountabilities for success in this role will be primarily focused on: monthly production in investment and insurance related products; intangibles such as utilizing financial planning processes with client base; incumbent's ability to effectively build and maintain a pipeline of business. The Financial Advisor will be expected to maintain strong working relations with Retail regional managers as well as Commercial Market presidents.  In addition, the successful candidate will proactively work with a dedicated group of Platform Licensed Series 6 staff in order to deliver true financial solutions at every level within the Bank.
