Financial Aid Advisor

Herzing College is seeking an EXPERIENCED Financial Aid Advisor.  The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience. 

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

· Must provide excellent customer service

· Ability to utilize EdExpress, EdConnect and Microsoft Office

· Accounting or good math skills and attention to detail

· Knowledge of Title IV is highly desired

· Schedule includes some Saturdays and evenings  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 · Counsel prospective, current, and returning students on the available financial aid resources.

· Conduct financial aid appointments which include: counseling and advising prospective, current, and returning students regarding the program cost and their eligibility of Federal financial aid.

· Assist prospective, current, and returning students with the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with required documentation.

· Evaluate need analysis for administering Federal and Campus based aid.

· Assist prospective, current, and returning students with the application process to other Federal, State, and/or private agencies.

· Assist with the monitoring of cash collection.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Services and/or College President.
