Financial Analysis Sr Dir

Description:Identify key business segment operating issues and monitor associated execution. Remain current on key activities and strategies in the business segment. Partner with business segment staff and participate in business segment processes (e.g., quarterly reserve reviews) to offer independent insights. Maintain a focus on financial elements of, and anticipated consequences from key business segment activities. Monitor progress against business plans and strategies in order to pinpoint key activities and performance variances. May develop and implement risk financing, claim management and loss prevention policy that is focused primarily on the operational risks of the Corporation and its operating business segments. May serve as officer-in-charge for risk financing, risk assumption, loss prevention, and claim settlement decisions. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and has 10-12 years business and financial management experience. MBA or CPA preferred. Superior financial skills. Capacity to find alternatives/solutions as well as identify problems..- Oversee the expense consolidation process and work with healthcare senior staff and BFO IT to incorporate financial forecasting into the CHC projections. - Manage the fiscal operating and multi-year business plan, and expense management process for Sales, Underwriting, Medical Management, Network, Product Development and Marketing.- Provide oversight of the integrated healthcare management process and define and track key performance measures.- Design and direct the development of a management and financial reporting process for the core segments.- Accountable for industry and competitive analysis necessary to establish performance metrics that support the shaping of the strategic analysis and multiyear business plans for core segments and more broadly our healthcare operational efficiency goals.- Provide consolidated expense oversight for healthcare and provide the SP&A group with expense analysis and summation.- Partner with senior leader of CHC Operational Efficiency to implement strategies that ensure operational efficiency for the healthcare division..Qualifications:- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA desired.- Ten more years of financial management experience including strategic and business planning, financial analysis and accounting. Big 4 experience is highly desirable.- Knowledge of the healthcare industry is desirableCompetencies required:1.
