Financial Analyst - Advertising

Boston Globe Media has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, product-line analysis and decision support analysis for the Boston Globe Media advertising sales teams.

 

In this highly visible position reporting to the Finance Director of Advertising, you will work closely with sales and finance management company-wide on a variety of financial and operational issues, including product & customer profitability.

 

Additionally, you will participate in the development of the organization’s annual and long-term plan, generate performance reports and analysis and be responsible for improving the management reporting of the organization.

 

Qualifications:

 

·  At least 1 to 3 years of progressive financial analysis experience.

·  Large company experience preferred.

·  Proven entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated experience in business planning.

·  Strong organization and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams.

·  Excellent system skills required.
