Position Description:

The Internal Audit Department, located in Pleasanton, California, has an opening for a Financial/Business Analyst. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial and/or business analysis or auditing.4 year college degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related business topic.Some prior supervisory or management experience required.Strong organizational, analytical, and quantitative abilities with exceptional MS Word, Excel, and data presentation skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Experience with analyzing and tracking cost savings initiatives preferred.Good interpersonal skills and desire to be a team player.Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and sense of urgency.Ability to perform multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.Experience in a corporate internal audit environment would be helpful.Knowledge of TeamMate or other automated audit workpaper tools is desirable.Retail experience is a plus.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintain and support audit information systems, including TeamMate automated workpapers and TeamStore resources. Act as technical expert, implementation lead, subject matter expert, and trainer for TeamMate modules.Produce periodic reports. Facilitate production and updating of the annual audit plan and the departmental budget. Analyze information and prepare summaries for management review. Review audit reports and memos to meet QA standards and publish within deadlines.Manage the reporting cycle for quarterly Audit Committee meetings. Coordinate collection of data and prepare presentation material and reports for meetings.Supervise administrative assistants. Train, develop, and motivate administrative staff. Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations.
