Financial Analyst - Small Parts, Miramar, FL

Small Parts, Inc. seeks a Financial Analyst to play a key role in its finance group. The financial analyst will be responsible for internal financial reporting and analytics, and accounting support assuring GAAP. A 4 years degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required. MBA preferred Graduating or recent MBA’s with at least 3/5 years of work experience a big plus. Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving. Thorough understanding of US GAAP, balance sheet, P&L, Statement of Cash flows, and intercompany balances a plus Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Financial Applications, COGNOS, Essbase, or others required. Ability to get into details, solve problems, a passion for analytics. Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to interact with several groups within the company, understand their needs and adjust the approach accordingly. The ideal candidate should be highly proactive, capable of initiating projects and implementing new, structured solutions. Strong work ethics and controllership attitude are required. Prior experience in a fortune 500 company or subsidiary helpful. Experience in an internet, industrial, wholesale, and or retail environment desired; others backgrounds encouraged to apply.
