Principal ResponsibilitiesEstablish best practices, and implement the associated infrastructure, to support a robust, sustainable, Risk and Control assessment framework for Operations.Establish best practices, and implement the associated infrastructure, to support a robust, sustainable, Risk and Control assessment framework for Operations. Propose areas of potentially high risk within Operations that would benefit from closer examination through a Risk and Control Assessment. These would be identified through analysis of internal risk data (Incidents, Key Risk Indicators, and other Risk Issues identified by, e.g. SOX, Internal Audit, and Regulators) and examination of external events.Lead Product and Functional Risk and Controls Assessments. The assessment process will be in line with standards of best practice, will be cross-product and global in nature and are expected to focus on detailed discussions with Senior Management and technical experts in Operations. The Assessment process will include identifying the material risks, proposing solutions to reduce / eliminate the risk, and provide leadership / governance to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and on a timely basis

 SkillsStrong appreciation of risk management and understanding of an effective risk and control environment Strong risk and control assessment skills Strong leadership and project management skills to manage broad and potentially complex assessments that require participation from a large number of people
Ability to think objectively and creatively when analyzing issues and recommending solutions Flexibility to work across different products, functions and situations and change priorities at short notice Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to understand complex workflowsAble to interact comfortably with senior management, articulate issues clearly and succinctly, challenge existing views and present complex and sensitive information.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong PC skills, with proficient knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel Self starter with high energy level
