Financial Reporting Analyst

Assists with the preparation of SEC reporting, quarterly and annual shareholder reporting, and other financial information reporting included in periodic earnings releases or other news releases to the public. Performs technical research on accounting and financial presentation issues. Responsible for the timely completion of the financial reports to management.     Prepare and file timely SEC quarterly and annual reports Complete registration statements and other SEC filings as needed Stay current on all US GAAP and SOX 404 changes and assess the impact on financial reporting Provide internal financial statements for the monthly reporting package Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Provide ad-hoc analytical support for senior management Ensure a systematic and timely monthly closing process Coordinate and support the work of external auditors Assist with the ongoing 404 Sarbanes - Oxley compliance process EDUCATION/TRAINING Bachelors degree in related field or appropriate combination of education and experience. Continuing education expected to maintain currency. EXPERIENCE 3 - 7 years of progressive, professional experience TRAVEL Must be able to travel on an occasional basis.
