Essential Job Functions:

  Sell insurance and investment products to new customers by utilizing mailings and phone solicitation.  Reassess personal and business needs, and provide expert guidance and innovative solutions in all areas of insurance and investment services, including retirement planning, estate planning, education funding and employee benefits. Prepare quotes and sales proposals. Effectively cross-sell other services and insurance lines offered by the company. Close the sale by guiding the customer toward the common goal. Follow up on results and plan future calls for ongoing evaluations of customer’s needs. Contact our existing customers, schedule appointments, and provide ongoing support and service.

 

Requirements:

 

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, hardworking individual who is interested in providing the highest standard of sales and service and has the persistence and desire to succeed. To be considered, you should have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution, have strong communications, time management and relationship building skills, and the ability to function effectively in a team environment. You should also have the appropriate industry licenses and registrations (Life & Health and Series 6 or 7 & 63 NASD registration).  Prior sales experience required (in Financial Services a plus).
