Bowling is seeking to add a key addition to our team.  This new employee must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be driven to build a book of business based on the highest ethical standards.  The right candidate will be self-motivated, yet able and willing to collaborate to the greater good of the firm as needed with his colleagues. 

 

The first responsibility of this employee will be the servicing and maintenance of the existing client base, which is primarily high net worth individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Additionally, the employee will also be expected to attract, attain and advise new high net worth clients.  The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of investments and an understanding of estate issues and tax planning.  Bowling enjoys an excellent reputation both with its clients and in the Greater Cincinnati area and the candidate will be expected to leverage this reputation in order to generate new business and to expand the presence of Bowling in the area.

 

In addition, and of no less importance, the candidate will be responsible for identifying, establishing and developing investment advisory relationships with independent RIA’s, Registered Representatives of Broker/Dealers, and other strategic intermediaries interested in hiring Bowling to manage their client’s assets.  Bowling is currently included in the sub advisory platforms of several national broker/dealers.  Via Bowling’s approval in these programs, the candidate will have immediate entree to highly successful financial advisors and consultants in these firms.  It is expected that given Bowling’s excellent performance record and reputation, the candidate will be able to develop significant business through these channels.  It is also anticipated that there will be some travel outside the Greater Cincinnati area.

 

Bowling has recently hired a national firm to improve their marketing materials and to ensure that the materials are competitive at the highest level.  The candidate will be provided with high quality marketing materials and a generous marketing budget. 

 

Desired Qualifications:

 A minimum of 5 years of financial advisory/relationship management experience A proven record of successfully selling investment management services Strong investment knowledge and an understanding of tax related issues Experience in handling complex client relationships Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospects and clients Strong face-to-face presentation skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage time and schedule effectively Ability to work independently Self-motivated Strong entrepreneurial skills Unquestionable character, honesty and integrity Ability to work collaboratively with others within the organizations including both support staff and the firm’s Managing Partners High energy and strong work ethic Sense of urgency coupled with sound judgment and decision making Strategic thinker, ability to critically assess areas of improvement and recommend a course of action Detailed and organized in approach Participation in the CFP or CFA programs will be given the highest consideration

 

Compensation:

 

Compensation will be customized based on the proven experience and knowledge of the candidate but will include a competitive base plus an attractive incentive compensation for both retention and the addition of new clients.  The compensation package will be structured to provide the highest level of incentive for the right candidate to build and maintain a book of business.  Bowling also offers a complete package of competitive employee benefits including medical insurance, 401(k) and profit sharing.
