One of the nation’s leading investor relations’ agencies is seeking Financial Writers /Equity Analysts to be based at our offices in New York City and Los Angeles. This position offers an opportunity to work with leading publicly traded clients in a variety of industries. We are looking for a detail oriented individual who wants to grow in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

This position requires an ability to write clearly about complex business issues over a variety of industries communicating accurately under tight deadlines; the successful candidate also combines strong research and analytical abilities to display a solid understanding of financial statements and securities analysis. Writing assignments range from press releases, corporate profiles, PowerPoint presentations, conference call scripts and annual reports, to marketing brochures and corporate web sites.

Qualifications

Strong writing skills and excellent verbal communications skills are essential. Securities, business and top-tier writing background required; MBA or CFA is a plus. Strong experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point presentations is functionally necessary.

We feel that a person with a background (academic or on the job training) in finance and/or securities analysis will be well suited to this job.

There is a great opportunity to learn more about investor relations and grow with responsibility over time.  You should have a minimum of five (5) years professional experience as an equity analyst, business journalist, or related field. Professional demeanor in fast-paced environment, strong phone presence, disciplined time management. Desire to develop investor relations consulting skills and absolute integrity are requirements for this position. Salary to be negotiated based upon experience in range from $55k-$80k plus profit sharing plan and a generous benefit package.
