IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimised and that the client experience is a pleasant one.  Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively.  It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

Fixed Income Receive and Deliver Analyst

Job Description:DTCC Settlement, navigation of the prominent PTS functions utilized for settlement such as ART, POS, SETP, MSEG, DOAD, PEND, DO.Repo and reverse Repo settlement.Interest and Income tracking through DTCC.Incoming Commercial Paper receives and DTCC DOAP screen monitoring.Equity Tri-Party pledging of collateral for end of day funding.Processing bookkeeping entries in ADP, must be able to modify and review batches.Liaise with MO and FO on trade discrepancies raised by clients and get resolution in a timely manner.Preparation of deposit and withdrawal instruction to the 15c3-3 account.Understand the derivatives business model Ensure client is meeting their obligations and escalate to management/business if client is not responsive.Provide specific details on trade issues to management on an ad hoc basis.

 

Skills Required:Knowledge of DTCC settlement functionalityFull knowledge of ADP, both BTS and CAGE, including SINR, MRGI, NEWB and the bookkeeping functions.  Good IT skills, such as Windows XP and Microsoft Word and ExcelMotivated and PositiveExcellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of the ICI ( Impact) processing platform for fixed income products.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work in a team environment in order to achieve group targetsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work under tight deadlinesAccountability, responsibility, solution and delivery focusedAbility to interact successfully and build strong working relationships with various internal and external groups on a daily basis (Middle Office, Legal, Credit)Three to Five years experience in DTCC settlement processed on the ADP platform.
