Fixed-income Security Sales Consultant  - Albany, NY

 

The Fixed-income Security Sales Consultant will manage the designated relationships with credit union clients of Balance Sheet Solutions, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Members United Corporate Federal Credit Union. The successful candidate will proactively build interdependent relationships by providing a range of financial solutions, and establishing Balance Sheet Solutions and Members United as premier providers of balance sheet services.

 

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Utilize resources within the organization to achieve objectives through a consultative approach and an emphasis on overall portfolio and/or balance sheet management Promote the sales of Agency Bonds, Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (CMOs), Mortgaged-Backed Securities (MBS), Proprietary Investment Products, Money Market Instrument Proprietary lending products to credit unions within an assigned market. Communicate investment, liquidity and market information to customers and prospects. Develop and execute a sales plan for assigned credit union and potential credit union clients Develop, prepare, and present market and educational materials to credit unions or potential customers’ on an individual and group basis Seek out opportunities for new business lines or products to meet member needs. Provide input and assist in the design, development and marketing of new investment products or services

 

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Finance and a minimum of 5 years experience in investment sales or capital markets. Series 7 and 63 license a plus.
