Description

 

The Fulfillment Manager will manage and direct a team of associates to meet the organizations policies, objectives, and initiatives related to the Purchasing Department.  This position is responsible for the entire procurement cycle from purchase order processing to delivery of products or services to external customers.  In addition, responsibilities will include customer escalations as related to miss-shipments, lost orders, cancellations, returns, etc. specifically related to a drop ship model. 

 

Essential Functions

 

· Schedule and monitor daily staff to ensure completion of all fulfillment activities and account for volume increases.

· Compile and analyze weekly fulfillment results; utilize information to provide continued development of program efficiencies.

· Work with Buyers and Management to develop and manage supplier processes, key performance metrics, and Service Level Agreements.

· Provide continual improvement and streamlining of process flow and product delivery.

· Oversee all product returns and shipment procedures.

 

Qualifications

· 5 years managerial experience with progressive discipline

· 5 years experience in Purchasing, Merchandising, and/or Fulfillment role

· Strong leadership management skills

· Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Able to influence and motivate subordinates

· Able to work in fast-paced environment
