Functional Web Tester

Celerity has won an outsourced contract to manage dynamic content for a large extranet presence for a Fortune 200 financial services firm.  We are looking for Functional Web Testers to join our team. 

The individual demonstrates outstanding client-facing skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the capability to perform under aggressive deadlines and heavy client demands.  Successful candidates must be dependable, reliable, willing to take initiative, fast learners, and team players.  They should exhibit a flexible, innovative, "can-do" attitude. 

Location:  Richmond, VA
Hours:  Normal business hours, Monday - Friday

Required Skills:


Prior experience with Functional Testing including test strategy, test case development and execution

5 - 7+ years of BA/Project Coordinator/Testing experience, preferably a combination thereof

Experience within a fast paced web development environment

Ability to manage and perform/execute testing on a number of projects simultaneously

Create Business Assurance Test Strategy and review it with the different lines of business, the BA and the PM

Develop Test Cases

Coordinate the Regression and Performance Testing with offshore teams

Coordinate with the Developers and PM to ensure the work is completed on time

Execute Functional Testing and work with the QA teams in an Agile development environment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to comprehend required content and design standards in order to execute testing for compliance

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to field requests from business customers and partner with customers to understand business intent and testing needs

Experience with Test Manager or other testing tools

Familiarity with web technologies

 

Preferred Skills:

Prior creative design and copywriting experience for web sites

Basic use of Rational ClearCase or other ticketing application

Prior experience in a financial services company
