Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.

Additional Skills: Bachelor's or higher degree required.
5 yrs of Genesys Routing Development experience required
Working knowledge of the Genesys Framework and Management layer including installation and configuration (both UNIX and Windows).
Working Knowledge of Genesys Configuration, Management, Media and Solutions Layers and associated objects and their relationship to the switching systems.
Able to create and/or modify complex Genesys routing strategy using Genesys IR Designer (reusable parameter driven routing rules) in accordance with high level specifications and application support.
Genesys Certifications
Working knowledge of Solaris O/S and Oracle 10G database and architecture
Five years plus (5+) experience in Contact Center Technology (Genesys CTI Framework, IVR applications, Voice Communication technology (AT&T, MCI, etc.,) and Complex Software development.
Able to collaborate and work with the IVR, WebPhone, Telecommunication and LOB Desktop Applications Integration, Webstats MIS, MQ team members to resolve production issues as well as implementing new complex solutions.
A solid base of data networking knowledge as well as VOIP technology will be required for this position
Working Knowledge of Genesys CC Pulse and the ability to create, modify, and maintain templates.

Must be willing to provide 24X7 production support (rotating basis and in emergency cases).
Must have terrific analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, documentation of programming applications, and CTI system integration to satisfy business requirements following defined project life cycle and testing methodology.
Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.
Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
Provide Computer Telephony Infrastructure design and support (exiting and new).
Provides 24 hour daily production and technical support to the Enterprise-wide telephony environment.
Be responsible for the availability and configuration of the Genesys production, development and QA environment.
Plan, coordinate and conduct cross-functional system testing.
Lead in technical design sessions and provide subject matter expertise as it relates to the Genesys product suites (Framework/CTI, Management, Routing, and Reporting)
Provide proactive architecture review and analysis.
