IB Operations

IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimised and that the client experience is a pleasant one.  Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively.  It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

Global Loan Services – CLO/Portfolio Team Leader

 

Job Description:

-Manage a group of people in the administration of loan portfolios held by CLOs or portfolio clients.

-Interface with our team in Bangalore to ensure that all loan positions are kept current.

-Oversee the process of identifying incoming wires, and the follow-up for missing payments from agent banks.

-Maintain MIS on position breaks, missing wires and unidentified items.

-Work with Corporate Trust group, portfolio clients and funds administrators to ensure that their information needs are met in a timely manner.

-Manage CLO closings at the end of warehouse period

-Set objectives and provide evaluations for team members.

-Resolve all customer and agent bank inquiries

-Provide for training of new team members

 

Skills Required:

-Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

-Ability to handle heavy volume and work within deadlines

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

-7+ years of financial services experience

- It would be preferred if the individual currently has:
- Knowledge of loan procedures

- Aptitude in mathematics / analysis would be beneficial

- An above average competency with Microsoft Excel and Word is beneficial.
