Job Description:

Supervise preparation of trading P&L and related nightly estimates for the following desksPar Trading Distressed Trading Latin America Distressed Trading

Supervise preparation of Total Return Swap daily exception reporting for the following desksGlobal Prime Services Leveraged Finance Fixed Income Prime Brokerage Structured Credit Finance

Supervise trade allocations and maintain the pending allocations exception reporting for the following desksPar Trading Distressed Trading Latin America Distressed Trading Global Prime Services Leveraged Finance Fixed Income Prime Brokerage Structured Credit Finance Structured Credit Trading

Supervise processing, maintenance, reconciliation, and disposition of delayed compensation calculationsPar Trading Distressed Trading

Insure any front office, middle office, BAC, or LEC issues are addressed timely and satisfactorily.

Insure positions are marked properly

Insure Fees Held Account is being reviewed and applied daily

Meet with BAC groups to discuss MRP issues

Review the WIP report to insure aged items are addressed

Insure adequate coverage is maintained / manage vacation schedules

 

Skills Required:

1.  Proficient MS knowledge Excel and MS Access

2.  Strong PC skills

3.  Willingness to work extended hours (pretty much 8:30AM to 7pm daily)

4.  Strong interpersonal skills

5.  Adaptable to changing demands

6.  Experience managing / preparing daily trading P&L

7.  Manager is expected not only to manage, but to be able to roll-up sleeves and work with staff

8.  Experience managing across geographical boundaries

9.  Degree in Accounting or Finance

10.  7+ years of industry experience
