Group Benefits Sales Representative

Our Company is constantly growing and on the lookout for talented team players with dedication and passion for their work.  Currently we are looking for qualified Group Benefit Sales Representatives to acquire and service clients in the Cleveland/Toledo area. 
This role does NOT require prospecting as qualified prospective client companies are identified and met with previous to your interaction with the group.

 

Responsibilities

·  Meet with companies to sell and service group benefits, including health, dental, and life products.  Case size commensurate with benefit and sales experience.

·  Generate proposals during the pre-renewal process for existing groups, and utilize the value added set of services we provide to acquire new groups.

·  Call existing group clients to answer questions and to resolve any issues. 

·  No-cold calling or direct prospecting activity required. 

 

Job Requirements

·  Ohio Life, Accident, and Health License required

·  Must be familiar with major carrier products, pre-renewal processes, and underwriting guidelines

·  Analytical and problem solving skills

·  Previous sales and customer service experience

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills

·  Highly detailed oriented

·  Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, high volume environment, with tight deadlines

·  Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment, partnered with case analysts and account managers, with multiple priorities and deadlines

·  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
