Job Description:
Identify, recommend, and implement long and short term system solutions and improved processes to enhance the Human Resource infrastructure, increase efficiencies, reduce workflows and optimize the use of current and proposed systems within the HR Department. Review departmental reports, procedures and intranet content; recommend and implement changes and improvements.
Manage HR technology and systems with emphasis on PeopleSoft HCM. Oversee upgrades and external application implementations. Develop and lead training activities. Monitor the technology horizon and work with VP-HRIS and SVP-Director of HR to develop long and short term direction for HR systems.Manage relationships, priorities and workflow between HRIS and the IT Development Teams and infrastructure organizations. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all HR data held within HR and data distributed externally to business partners and vendors.Manage HRIS staff; prioritize and allocate work, provide guidance, make recommendations regarding employment, performance measurement, compensation, training, development and perform other related supervisory activities.Work closely with HR functional areas to understand business needs and workflow. Analyze needs and develop solutions to complex system problems across all HR functions.Serve as project manager for HR technology initiatives; lead cross-functional project teams of both HR and IT experts. .Understand and communicate business requirements to developers and IT. Develop project plans, manage meetings and ensure projects stay focused. Provide regular management updates.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field. Advanced technical degree or education preferred.Minimum of six years of related experience in processes and systems within a Human Resources environment and related compensation experience; including working knowledge of base pay, incentive compensation, sales and executive compensation.Functional and general technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Security protocols, and PeopleSoft Query, SQR, nVision, and Process Scheduler tools; ability to test and support customizations.Strong Microsoft product skills required. Familiarity with Crystal Reports, Ceridian payroll interface and applicant tracking systems preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal (ability to influence) skills; demonstrated ability to make independent decisions.Strong consultative and diagnostic skills; experience in project management methodology, process orientation and process management.Detail oriented, flexible (able to work non standard hours as needed) and able to prioritize multiple projects.Strong knowledge and application/interpretation of complex regulations and laws (i.e. FLSA, HIPPA, etc.) as they pertain to compensation and HRIS programs.

-Oversee design, testing and support of internal and external interfaces to PeopleSoft HCM. Ensure HR systems are leveraged to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations and data management. Provide support for external business units accessing HR systems and data.
-Utilizing system knowledge, support the design and implementation of solutions needed to accommodate changing organizational objectives.
-Identify and develop key metrics for distribution inside and outside of HR to support business goals. Develop and maintain analytical tools within HR.
-Oversee the support of HR applications; ensure applicable knowledge and training efforts for HR is developed and maintained by HRIS staff.
-Assume additional responsibilities, and special projects, as requested.
