Job Description Health & Welfare Administrator II Standard Retirement Services, Inc. Direct, develop and deliver all Retirement Plans internal communications programs and material in collaboration with internal communications staff, business unit management/leadership and business unit consultants/partners. Manage client relations and administer Section 125 Flexible Benefit, 132 Qualified Transportation, and COBRA Plans within a regional office in order to achieve business growth and retain customers. Process/administer Section 125 Flexible Plans, 132 Qualified Transportation Plans, and COBRA Qualifying Events and premium collection and reconciliation. Includes reviewing claims for eligibility, entering claims, requesting funds, cutting and mailing checks, processing direct deposits, resolving debit card transactions, and writing denial letters. Process payrolls and contributions. Maintain client relationships. Includes plan design and consulting with clients, holding a variety of meetings including open enrollment preparation and meetings, responding to client, participant and administrator inquiries, and resolving participant disputes and other issues. Also includes new business client consultation in the areas of 125, 132, COBRA, HRAs and HSAs, documentation and plan implementation. Client billing. Prepare Plan documents. Datapath software set-up, including plan design, payroll, participant, debit card and website set-up. Perform non-discrimination testing and documentation, including cutback calculations. Keep up to date on regulations (125, 132, COBRA, HRAs, HSAs) and business systems. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred. Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in Flexible Benefit and COBRA Plans or equivalent. Professional certification required: Certified Section 125 Plan Administrator and Certified COBRA Administrator.
