Hedge Fund Developer - C#, Java

“Our client is a newly-established hedge fund founded by senior managers of a leading Investment Bank.  They are in the process of setting up their technology platform, trading and related accounting systems, and seek well-rounded developers with financial services experience, to join the team and assist in a wide range of development duties.

The candidates we are looking for should have 5-10 years financial industry experience; knowledge in at least one of the following areas:  trading, risk management, operations.   They should also be hands on with strong programming skills in C#, C++ or Java, Windows and/or Unix/linux scripting, Sql Server or Oracle databases, database design, SQL.  Knowledge and experience with time series databases would be a plus.   Experience with Paladyne, Eze Castle, VPM or Calypso is also a plus.  Candidate should be a self starter and willing to jump in and work in a number of different technologies and areas.

Additional experience desired:Financial services, i.e. investment bank or hedge fund or equivalent,Some knowledge of equity or fixed income products,Experience integrating various systems and data feedsDevelopment and application support experience preferred.
