Hedge Fund Operational Due Diligence Analyst
A multi-billion dollar fund of funds client of ours is currently looking to hire an Operational Due Diligence Analyst who will be responsible for the following:Perform external manager operational due diligence reviews with respect to potential investments in hedge funds. Conduct onsite interviews with hedge fund CFO’s, COO’s, Chief Compliance Officers as well as other support staff
Work closely with investment team and legal and compliance team to resolve and clarify any legal issues uncovered during the review process
Maintain database of external manager data, legal updates, valuation methodologies, etc
THIS IS A TREMENDOUS OPPORTUNITY TO INTERACT WITH SENIOR LEVEL HEDGE FUND PROFESSIONALS ON A MULTI-STRATEGY PLATFORM.
Requirements:
MUST have experience in either Operational Due Diligence, Hedge Fund Audit or Counter Party Credit while having a strong understanding of hedge fund operations (trading, custody, clearance and settlements)
Knowledge of various instrument types (fixed income securities, equities, futures, options, etc) as well as an understanding of the NAV finalization process
Familiarity with the role of prime brokers, custodians, auditors and administrators
Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
