NCO provides services through over 140 offices in Antigua, Australia, Barbados, Canada, India, Panama, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom and the United States. Our Montgomery, Alabama location is currently searching for a Human Resources Manager!!!Description: Provide Human Resource functions to location. Support management and coordinate the efforts to include but not limited to recruitment activities, employee relation’s matters, new hire orientation, disciplinary action and terminations, and other aspects of HR administration to include payroll and benefits administration, leaves of absences, workers’ compensation and EEO/AA. Maintaining positive employer/employee relationships, coaching and counseling management on policies and procedures, and problem solving through effective communication.Responsibilities: Manage recruitment and retention efforts for location and key field employees. Maintain positive employer/employee relationships, coach and counsel management on policies and procedures, and solve problems through effective communication. Conduct new employee orientations. Work with department managers on all terminations and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with company adopted procedures and all laws and regulations. Day to day contact with employees communicating and interpreting NCO policies and procedures. Attend unemployment hearings when required. Respond to and help perform good faith fact-finding investigations. Ensure uniform application of Human Resource policies & practices. Conduct benefit orientations and administer company benefit programs as directed by Corporate Human Resources and Benefits departments. Perform miscellaneous payroll functions when needed. Provide general administrative functions, such as record keeping, reports, filing, etc. Accountable for all decisions, actions, and directives with respect to job responsibilities. Responsible for progressive discipline with regards to attendance, performance and all aspects of company policy. Follow up in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide feedback to management and Corporate Human Resources concerning possible problems or areas of improvement. Make recommendations to implement improved processes. Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications: Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent experience. 4-5 years Human Resource/management experience. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft office. Ability to work in multi-tasked environment. Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule. Ability to prioritize and organize work with attention to detail.
