National Interstate Insurance Company wants you to add your vision and drive to our team!  We’re currently seeking a Human Resources Intern for our Northeast OH Corporate Headquarters for Summer 2008. This is a paid position. 

 

Main responsibilities include:Audit and archive employee and electronic files Assist with orientation and on-onboarding  Assist with survey administration and analysis such as salary, wellness, employee satisfaction, and various additional reporting functions Create an online or shared-drive employee picture directoryCreate validation tables to upload information into HRIS systemScreen candidates for open positions and additional recruiting processes  Assist with employee morale event planning

 

Qualifications we’re looking for:Currently earning a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or MBA; junior level or higher preferred.  HR or related majorAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to professionally and effectively communicate via oral and written communication with all levelsStrong PC software competency, including word processing and Excel spreadsheetsAbility to multi-task and posses strong organizational skills Confidentiality a must
