INTERNAL WHOLESALER

Internal Wholesaler(hybrid wholesaler after 8-12 months of employment) Zacks Investment Management – Wholesale Division – is hiring Internal Wholesalers in Chicago.  Potential candidates must have wholesaling experience. About Zacks Investment Management

Since 1993, Zacks Investment Management has managed assets for pension funds, institutions and the HNW market via an SMA structure.  In total ZIM manages $1.2 billion of long-only domestic equity, international and long / short portfolios.  As a noted investment research firm, the parent company Zacks Investment Research was formed in 1978 by Leonard Zacks to compile, analyze, and distribute brokerage research to both institutional and individual investors.  The guiding principle behind our work is the belief that earning estimate revisions are among the most potent forces in determining the future direction of stock prices.


The position of an Internal Wholesaler is to raise assets from various B/D’s from an assigned territory, assist External Wholesalers, assist in marketing efforts, etc.  The main channels that we distribute to right now are LPL, Merrill Lynch and Schwab Institutional.  Zacks Investment Management’s flag ship product is an All Cap Core SMA (separately managed account) and is the main product being sold on a wholesale level.  We are experiencing rapid growth and we are in the process of adding several different products to our distribution line as well as add additional B/Ds. 

Day to day responsibilities will include:

v Maintaining/Growing existing relationships within the assigned territory

v Help plan future trips/appointments with LPL and ML Financial Advisors for External Wholesalers

v Selling to FA’s over the phone

v Develop new marketing ideas with the team.

Job Requirements

- 1+ years minimum successful experience in the wholesale industry

- Strong phone and presentation skills

- A working knowledge and passion for the equity markets

- Meticulous organizational skills

- A bachelor degree in a business related field is strongly recommended
