Sales/Retail/Business Development Job Type Full Time, Employee IS Managed Consultant Description Description:Job Summary and Mission:As an IS Managed Consultant, you partner with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) to proactively engage Ultra High Net Worth clients and prospects in dialogue surrounding advanced wealth transfer and philanthropic strategies, and the integration of those strategies with their investment portfolios.Key Responsibilities:- Enhance the client acquisition, advisement and retention process by contributing sophisticated intellectual capital related to wealth transfer and philanthropic planning- Collaborate with other business groups within UBS Wealth Management US to provide a consistent internal client experience- Educate PWAs, Branch Office Managers and Regional Consulting Center Consultants in the area of Managed Accounts- Provide expertise in competition and marketplace dynamics (pricing, etc.) that pertain to the particular P&S solution set- Articulate a concise message to both the client and UBS PWA, as an advice provider in a comprehensive portfolio context- Possess general knowledge of the entire P&S solution set- Conduct education programs for PWAs, BOMs and RCC Consultants- Conduct client events that educate on a particular P&S solution set- Develop strategies with PWAs to segment and build a service matrix for their businesses into Wealth Management practices- Educate PWAs on the features of all varieties of Managed Accounts and its benefits to a client's portfolio- Strategize with PWAs on how to utilize UBS' expertise and capabilities to provide value in every aspect of a clients financial life- Provide client facing point-of-sale support for PWAs as a consultant with generalist knowledge of all product areas and specialist expertise in Managed Accounts- Support Regional Head, Regional Consulting Center team, and P&S Business Management team with the coordination of and implementation of PWA education initiatives, sales team meetings and firm events in the area of Managed Accounts- Coordinate the sharing of best practices and key sales information in close cooperation with P&SC Business Management team, the Regional Consulting Center Consultants, and Consultants in other Private Wealth Management offices around the country- Significant experience working with ultra high net worth clients- Manage T&E to ensure expenditures stay within guidelinesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree preferred- 10 years industry experience or work related experience; Minimum 3 years direct marketing experience; Sales/Consulting- Series 7 and 66 licenses must be obtained within 3 months of hire- Technical expertise specific to the area of Managed Accounts- Ability to interact with Senior Managers, BOMs, PWAs, and product areas, vendors and field experts- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy- Strong organizational and project coordination skills- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Self-motivated and pro-active with an entrepreneurial spirit- Team-player, enthusiastic and positive, polished, poised and professional- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel- Must have passed or have the ability to complete within one year a comprehensive exam of the online UBS Wealth Management Education Program (WMEP) - all 27 modules- Accreditation appropriate for particular P&S sector- CIMA/CFP/CFA preferredSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe can offer you an exciting, fast-paced working environment, a culture of mutual respect and commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and the opportunity to play a vital role in our growth.Job Location: San Francisco, CAJob Number: RUSAUBS130-595164Company URL: http://www.ubs.com/Company Profile:UBS is a leading global financial services firm.
