At Scottrade, interns are a business necessity and have a great opportunity for full-time employment.Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing technical deployment and installation of distributed systems' servers, including imaging and rack installation of blade servers. This position provides technical assistance to the Server Support Team in support of all business and I.S. sponsored projects. Key Performance Indicators include Customer Satisfaction, Problem Resolution Rate, and Project Deliverable Success Rate. This position must possess a strong work ethic and be able to effectively multi-task in a fast paced support environment.Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical deployment and support for server hardware, middleware, and software.Work closely with business and I.S. associates, and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy, and maintain the server infrastructure environment additions and changes.Other duties as assigned.Required SkillsAt least 1 year of technical experience in current Intel/Windows-based server environments Basic level of expertise with LAN/WAN network components and administration. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers & all Scottrade associates, and by having a positive attitude Ability to lift up 40 pounds Required Education:Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in MIS/Computer Science and/or equivalent experience preferred.
