IT Manager - Fuel Supply Chain

•Salary/Wage:Excellent benefits plans, large bonus plans •Job Category:IT/Software Development A Houston based company engaged in financial trading in North American energy commodity market is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee their application development projects. JOB DESCRIPTION: This person will manage the application development, QA, and production support of a commercial web based Fuel supply chain management system. He/She will report into the CIO and lead a 25 person team spread between Houston, Austin, and India.SKILLS Experienced software development manager (10+ years) with demonstrated experience managing (at least) 25 person team in an offshore/onshore model At least 5 years experience in commercial product development in the capacity of a project manager supporting multiple releases Strong inter personal & communication skills Ability to be "hands on" as required Understand the software development lifecycle (requirements through customer acceptance and support) Strong working knowledge of source code control systems (prefer SVN), defect tracking systems, UML modeling Expertise in J2EE and web technologies in a (preferably) Oracle environment Demonstrated experience dealing with sales & marketing, professional services, and Business Analysis teamsExcellent salary (depending upon experience), bonus potential, and benefits are provided.  This is a high energy, highly professional environment where you will enjoy challenge and responsibility. Please respond to lgilmore@searchtechhouston.com  for immediate and confidential consideration.  •Email:lgilmore@searchtechhouston.com
