Job Description: The main focus of this roll will be to take on the Deployment management communication responsibilities for the Wholesale Deployment Services Team and in some case Wholesale Service Level Management. This job will require participation in all planning phases of Wholesale Releases to gain overall knowledge of changes in Wholesale in order to communicate upcoming changes to our internal customers. This will include Communications to business partners on the status of the release through the test cycle and production environments as well as upcoming major activities impacting multiple applications. In addition to internal communications, this role will be responsible for gathering information on upcoming outages/impairments to be communicated to the Customer Care/TMCS group so that outages to external facing customers can be communicated in a timely manner. Minimum Qualifications: Strong Leadership skills:• Able to engage team members from multiple areas in cooperative efforts to support or resolve production. • Skilled at assuming a lead role in large scale production and problem management situations; engage and leverage the available WSLM, application and technical support team resources to ensure customer impact is mitigated in an expeditious manner.• Is equally as comfortable within single or team contributing situations.• Able to establish collaborative working relationships with team, application and enterprise support teams and various levels of management within the enterprise. • Able to balance leading and doing. Excellent verbal and oral communication skills: • Able to provide concise verbal and written communications to the team, business partners and management• Strong communication skills; ability to lead, present or facilitate large group discussions including staff, management and executives.• Comfortable with and skilled at management escalations and communications as appropriate.• Acts as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes. Ability to manage projects from inception through implementation:• Able to create a project plan outlining recommended changes and requirements for successful execution.• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.• Comfortable and skilled at assuming lead project management role.• Comfortable supporting team members who have assumed lead project management role.• Ability to create and complete deliverables with minimal input. Ability to manage and adapt to change:• Understands the environment is ever-changing; comfortable and copes well with change.• Identifies opportunities for change and drives change. Candidate embraces innovation and is an “ outside of the box” thinker:• Not content with the status quo; able to analyze situations to identify opportunities for improvement• Understands the importance for continued evolution of the production support environment.• Able to listen and respond to our customers; listens to their needs and identifies/recommends opportunities for new or improved support.• Self starter and team player and able to define a plan from an ambiguous start. Preferred Skills: • Excellent working knowledge of Pac2000 Change management reporting and process• Excellent working knowledge of Excel.• Excellent understanding of the EACO bridgeline system.
