Inbound Sales/Call Center - TEMP TO HIRE

Our client is an innovative, entrepreneurial Debt Consolidation/Credit Counseling company based in Maryland. They are currently looking for an Inbound Sales Representative.  This position (once you are hired after the review period) is VIRTUAL – you can work remotely from home!  RESPONSIBILITIES: Acquires and maintains the technical and professional knowledge and skills required to effectively describe the benefits of the debt consolidation program, determine the best solution(s), and take clients through the enrollment process. Serves as the initial contact, responsible for establishing relationships, effectively assessing financial needs, and assisting through program activation. Consults with individuals on their financial needs and designs debt solution packages. Develops new accounts and works closely with prospective customers to ensure enrollment and account activation.·  Manages outbound customer follow-up calls to answer questions, and ensure all necessary information and documents have been collected and received. Listens empathetically, explores financial profiles, analyzes total needs, and makes effective recommendations based on individual needs. Educates customers by providing access to information, products and services that will enable them to improve their financial “health”. Through own initiative, formal training, and self-study, maintains a current, in-depth understanding of available resources, products and services. Complies with all relevant internal compliance requirements and external regulations. QUALIFICATIONS:·  Minimum of 2 years experience required in a sales position, inbound telesales preferred·  Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.·  Solid written and verbal communication skills including the ability to tailor approach to audience and comfortably handle all types of customer interactions.·  Must be able to work some evening and/or weekend hours.·  Bachelor’s Degree preferred. First 4-6 weeks training schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM – 5PM Work schedule (after initial training period) is based on a 40 hour work week:Scenario #1: 4 workdays 9AM – 6PM + Sat or SunScenario #2: Mon-Fri  afternoon/evening shift The individual will start out on a temporary basis for a 90-day review period.  Pay rate: $16.83/hour. If hired after the initial review period, the company offers a 35K base, plus lucrative incentives, full benefits, and all the equipment necessary to be able to work from home.  For immediate consideration, please forward a Word formatted resume.  Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
