Job Summary:Designs architecture and engineering required to align data security/risk management system improvements and mitigations as necessary to support business plans. Identifies researches and recommends new data security/risk management technology. Job Duties:Maintains in-depth information security skills in one or more of the following security specialization fields: Application Security (RACF, DCE, SAP, Active Directory etc.) and testing, Network Security Architecture, PKI Technology, Encryption, Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Assessment/Scans, or Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam technology. Expands working knowledge of technical tools available to implement solutions.Assists with investigating and deploying technology necessary to enhance current services.Assists in implementing security policies and procedures and data security guidelines. Reports suspected violations of security policy or procedures to Enterprise Information Risk Management. Works closely with all Information Technology departments, Internal Auditing, External Auditing, and with key partners in coordinating, implementing, and maintaining data security systems.Provides required documentation (Enterprise Plans, RFP’s, detailed Project Plans, Trending Reports etc.) needed for the deployment of new security/risk management systems and technology. Provides consultative direction to the Senior Security Analysts and Security Analysts deploying new security/risk management systems or making modifications to existing systems. Maintains and expands knowledge in all security specialization fields, maintains and expands knowledge of the vision and business plans of the corporation. Assists Enterprise Information Risk management in security/risk management activities within the corporation. Provides consultative information risk management direction on Deluxe business projects as part of a project team.May require on-call pager rotation. Requirements: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.8 plus years experience in an IT Security role. Experience in advanced technical problem analysis and resolution in a distributed and diverse network.Strong understanding and experience of HTTP, SSL, SSH, LDAP, IPSEC, Routing, TCP/IP, Windows, UNIX, Linux, Windows Server 2003 Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Lotus Notes, MS Exchange, Scripting, Checkpoint Firewalls, Desktop Firewalls, Vulnerability Scans, Encryption, IDS/IDP, Web Filtering and VPN technologies required.Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and some exposure to Unix, Linux. Ability to perform security administration, configuration and analysis in one or more of the following may be required: Lotus Notes, MS Exchange, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Spam Filters, Anti-Spy ware, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Vulnerability Assessment/Scans, Unix and Active Directory. Must have project management skills, strong planning, and organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision. Able to handle assignments that are broad in nature. Ability to understand and communicate Deluxe security polices and industry best practices to a broad user community. Ability to apply understanding of security standards and policies while balancing business needs and risk management. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.8 plus years experience in an IT Security role.
