Instructional Designer - Canada Financial Advisor Training & Development

The firm is seeking an instructional designer to develop and implement training for the Edward Jones Financial Advisor training programs. This project-oriented work involves all stages of curriculum design and development. Design and develop multimedia instruction for classroom and WBT delivery. Create scope documents, storyboards and other materials for blended learning solutions. Educate department associates on emerging training methodologies and trends. Attend internal and external training classes, seminars and conferences.Requirements A BA/BS or Masters in Instructional Technology or related field. Candidates with equivalent and relevant work experience may be considered. Minimum 3 years experience in instructional design/Technology for blended learning. Proficient in WBT training development; skilled in authoring and simulation tools, can incorporating interactivity into blended learning. Strong knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning principles. Experience creating instructional design materials like storyboards and design documents to develop blended course materials involving graphics and multimedia. Excellent writing and proof reading skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to be a self-starter and manage multiple projects in a team environment.
