Provide MQ messaging and integration expertise to cross-functional teams in the building and maintenance of complex enterprise level systems. Provide leadership in proposing MQ and WMB architectural solutions and best practices. Engineer messaging infrastructure solutions for applications in highly available, fault tolerant environments. The candidate should be comfortable conveying complex technology concepts to IT and management teams. Mentor and develop more junior members of the team. Able to monitor and trouble shoot system issues, manage software change, and escalate problems to vendors. Provide operational support.- Engineer integration and messaging solutions for enterprise level applications in highly available, fault tolerant environments.- Install and configure WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker middleware and supporting technologies.- Monitor and trouble shoot systems issues, manage software change, and escalate problems to vendors.- Assess IT infrastructure for capability to deliver to business requirements.- Provide management, availability support, and reporting for enterprise systems.- Participate in long-term planning of the Integration Architecture in support of Deluxe's growth and acquisitions.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest versions/capabilities of Web technologies. Benchmark Deluxe's eCommerce infrastructure against others. Stay current on products and best practices.This position may be a grade O or P based on the applicant's qualifications.Required:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.- Typically has 7-10 years IT experience, with at least 3 years in the implementation and support of applications revolving around WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker. - Knowledge of Application technologies such as Web Services, XML, SOAP, JMS, J2EE, and Java. Excellent understanding of common IT technologies (TCP/IP, LDAP, IE). Experience with various operating systems including Solaris, z/OS and Windows 2003.- Demonstrated skills in a major operating system (UNIX, MVS, Win 2K, etc.). Experience in application programming. Working knowledgeable of networking and hardware products used in the delivery of IT Technical services. - Ability to script automated tasks. - Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of high complexity that requires demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.- Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity, performance-driven environment.- Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff.- Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity, performance-driven environment.- Make recommendations to management that support best practices and strategy of Deluxe regarding integration and messaging solutions.
