An opportunity currently exists within our Corporate Accounting department for an Intermediary Compensation Specialist.

POSITION TITLE:   INTERMEDIARY COMPENSATION SPECIALIST

DEPARTMENT: INTERMEDIARY COMPENSATION

 

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

-  Bachelor degree in business or mathematics  or equivalent experience preferred

-  1-2 years mutual fund/operations experience preferred

-  Knowledge of Federated products/systems preferred

-  Knowledge of FRPS Retirement products preferred

-  Knowledge of the DST Compensation system preferred

-  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; specifically Excel and Word required, Access preferred

 

MAJOR DUTIES:

-  Reconcile client invoices to contract terms

-  Calculate manual payments according to contract terms

-  Reconcile fee calculations produced by the Federated Offshore Funds’ transfer Agent and RPSA trailer application to contract terms

-  Prepare funding  and payment requests and distribute as appropriate

-  Generate and distribute scheduled client reports

-  Collaborate with internal departments, vendors and clients to research and resolve issues

-  Maintain processing logs as well as all support documents

HOURS/LOCATION:

-  9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required. Hours may vary from normal corporate work day)

-  North Hills location – Pittsburgh, PA 15237
