Position Description:The candidate will be expected to do the following:Participate (under direct supervision) in planning and executing financial and operational audits using audit methodologies and tools to determine:Effective/efficient internal operational and financial processes Compliance to policies and proceduresTrends, leading and lagging indicatorsReliability of financial dataPreparation of internal audit reports & discussion with members of management Performing side projects as requested by management and/or the Audit CommitteeBy the end of the internship in the Internal Audit function of Broadcom, the individual will have a good understanding of the internal audit function and its inner workings as well as a glimpse of the corporate world. Also, this program provides ample opportunities to develop oral and written presentation skills and interactions with all levels of management.Qualifications:Education Requirement: Participant in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business AdministrationDesire to learn about internal auditing and the Corporate worldExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong technical and analytical skillsGood organizational skillsAnalytical Excellent time management with multitasking skillsWell –developed oral and written communication Skills for representation of audit resultsAbility to interact at all levels of organization and understand complex transactions
