Internal Auditor

Position Description:

Evaluate design of financial manual and IT controls, Assess impact of risks and controls on the overall financial reporting, Develop materiality thresholds and perform accounts and locations scoping (based on financial statements and forecasts)Assess financial reporting manual and automated controls related to via inquiry, observation, examination, re-performance. Develop test plans and define attributes for internal audit testing. Review Internal Audit's testing procedures and results. Perform evaluation of findings by using the PCAOB-based frameworkSubstantiate company's position on risks, controls, and potential deficiencies' financial statements impact to external financial auditors.Be familiar with PCAOB requirements (Audit Standard 5, 3, section 404 and 302 filing requirements) and GAAP.At AMD, we are committed to equal employment opportunity. Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of financial controls/audit experience with public accounting/consulting firm, including substantive and control testing, and evaluation of control deficiencies. Strong understanding of basic business processes and related risks to financial reporting (revenue/receivables, purchases/payables, treasury, inventory, etc.)Strong communication skills including conducting client meetings, writing technical memos, reviewing regulatory guidance.Experience in semiconductor industry preferred.Certifications: Passed or working towards following certifications: CPA/CIA/CISA. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
