Job Description : 

-Schaeffer’s Investment Research currently has an opening for a sales consultant position.  New hires will enter a training process that covers the stock and options market, Siebel client management software, and all services that Schaeffer’s Investment Research has to offer.  A strong desire to succeed and excel is more important than prior knowledge on how to sell.

 

Because we are an independent research and publishing firm, licensing is not required.

 

Primary Duties:

-Manage and grow our existing subscriber base.

-Confidently sell and explain the features and benefits of our products and services.

-Expand product mix with existing subscribers, prospect and sell to new leads provided.

-Perform necessary customer service duties to satisfy subscriber needs.

-Consistently maintain a high level of outbound and inbound call activity.

-All sales presentations and closings take place over the phone, no travel required.

 

Skills Required:

-Bachelor’s degree preferred but may be waived for the right candidate.

-Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

-Knowledge of financial markets, stocks and options.

-Personal drive, enthusiasm, humility and a "can do" attitude.

-Strong verbal communication skills.

-Computer literate.
