The Internal Sales Representative is a non-exempt position that is primarily responsible for supporting various aspects of the sales cycle as well as assisting the National Sales Manager and Regional Vice Presidents of Sales with a variety of sales duties. The Internal Sales Representative generates leads and qualifies prospects to help acquire new business and meet sales goals and also:Develops territory sales plans with field sales and marketing teamsManages the complete lead cycle from program research, generation and qualification, distribution to field sales, tracking and reporting, and database managementIdentifies business issues and demonstrates related value of our services through phone calls and emailQualifies and further develops both in-bound and cold call leads by performing and documenting the advisor’s requirements and performing a solution analysesAlters core solutions and values to fit diverse business types and situationsCloses leads for phone appointments or meetings with the Regional Vice Presidents of Sales

Minimum Requirements:  Must have 3 years’ minimum experience in sales.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience can be substituted. Experience in Registered Investment Advisor back offices services preferred as well as knowledge of business organization structures, buying influences and purchasing processes.  Must have knowledge of sales techniques and sales processes. Demonstrated experience in prospecting and growing an account list is needed. Experience using CRM software preferred.

 

Must be able to thoroughly understand customer problems, goals, and needs.  Must have the ability to clearly communicate positioning and the value of company services. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment.  Excellent organizational skills are required. Must be able to manage and effectively communicate with varied personality styles.
