Internal Wholesaler

You will have the opportunity to:Partner with an external wholesaler and members of the internal sales team to increase sales and market share of Sentinel mutual fund products sold through financial advisors. Conduct proactive sales presentations via the telephone with financial advisors highlighting Sentinel’s products and services.  Discuss how Sentinel’s solutions can meet the financial advisor’s needs based on the financial advisor’s profile information. Provide financial advisors with fund information, sales ideas and services. Assist with territory and firm-wide campaigns through proactive contact and relationship building with financial advisors. Field in-bound calls to provide fund information, performance, sales support, hypotheticals, and customer service assistance. Effectively manage administrative details of region; literature fulfillment, mail campaigns, financial advisor database management, and rep list management. Support in territory management and external wholesaler to build territory. Utilize sales skills; refine sales techniques: Generate leads for wholesaler from cold calling, direct mail efforts and referrals. Prospect with key account lists and marketing initiatives. Follow-up on literature requests, wholesaler visits and marketing campaigns. Contact “top producers” on a re-occurring basis.

 

Qualifications:Series 6 and 63 required or the ability to acquire licenses within a reasonable timeframe. BA/BS degree preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational and computer skills. Successful track record of sales performance preferred. 1-2 years financial services experience preferred.Professional individual with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Effective communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills. A team player as well as a strong individual contributor.
