Position requires good analytical skills to assess the level of risk associated interfacing with credit on an open account basis; providing leadership in a team environment interfacing with other business units to develop and recommend opportunities for growth and policies for risk containment; solid financial statement analysis experience to identify business financial strengths and weaknesses; good communication and reporting skills to relate appropriate concerns with regard to outstanding debt and business challenges; and making appropriate decisions with regard to financial extension and order approval to control the company’s levels of risk while enhancing member growth. You must speak Spanish to qualify for this opportunity.Position Requirements:Responsible for day to day collections, credit evaluation and risk management of TV's International portfolio. 50%Recommend and review credit review points for new and existing members. Review established members' accounts to determine compliance with Credit Review Points. 20%Interface with sales, customer service, finance, order processing, accounts payable, and information services organizations as required concerning credit and customer service issues. 10%Review member accounts on an ongoing basis to identify potential problem areas with the objective to achieve established DSO, loss exposure and past due dollar & percentage targets. 10%Analysis of Financial Statements, Dun & Bradstreet reports, security documents and Letters of Credit to maximize credit extension while protecting the company's assets. 5%International travel as needed in performance of assigned credit and collection duties. 5%Position Attributes:Minimum Education Requirements:BS/BA required and/or equivalent experience in related industry.Working knowledge of Letters of Credit and Security AgreementsStrong oral and written communication skills.PC proficiency with standard software packages (Microsoft Office)Minimum Type and Years of Related Experience Required:5-7 years credit experience.Important Decisions / Judgments:Strong interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to work under pressure.Strong sense of urgency.Recommend and review credit review points for new and existing accounts, taking into consideration country, economic, political and cultural risks.Review slow paying Active accounts to determine compliance with credit review points.Major Financial Control Activities:Using good written and oral communication skills, responsible for controlling risk associated with non-payment by members; using good analytical skills responsible for assigning appropriate credit review points to allow member growth while controlling risk of members exceeding cash flow abilities.
