As the markets evolve, there is an increasing demand for technology that supports the needs of the financial services industry. Our technology environment has expanded exponentially over the course of recent years to coincide with business growth in such areas as Trading, Investment Banking, Private Equity/Venture Capital, Sales, and Quantitative Research. Across the business, our technology recruiters are charged with developing creative talent acquisition strategies to align with the needs of the areas they support. This business expansion and its corresponding technology augmentation has led us to seek an internet recruiter to join our dynamic recruiting team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the candidate sourcing process in support of our technology recruiters, including cold calling, internet searching, database mining, pre-screening applicants and building and maintaining our applicant tracking database. You will conduct extensive research to proactively identify qualified talent to fill open positions and to keep abreast of industry news, changes and trends. Additionally, you will develop creative sourcing strategies, coordinate interview days and attend events as needed. Essential Functions Conduct creative internet searches to locate candidates that match job descriptions in support of the firm's technology recruiting effortsPerform industry research to develop target lists of companies, gathering research to identify potential candidates within those companies; develop organizational charts, reporting structures, or other tools that may facilitate hiring decisionsResearch market trends to understand impact of changes in the market or target companies/industries on technical recruitment initiatives Consult with a team of IT recruiters to adequately understand and assess hiring needs; collaborate with the recruiters to develop tactical and creative sourcing strategies to meet those needs and develop methods to assess the results of such strategies, modifying accordinglyReview resumes and screen for specific knowledge, skills and abilities; share candidate profiles that meet initial pre-screening guidelines to the recruiting team for further reviewLead efforts to post all open positions within the firm to job boards and/or additional available sources; evaluate success of jobs in each posting location to determine future posting strategy; meet with recruiting team to understand the status of open positions as well as any positions that would need to be posted; conduct research to identify alternative means of advertising SIG's job opportunities Required/Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of work experience required; experience supporting a high volume recruiting environment, specifically IT recruiting, strongly preferredMust possess working knowledge of Microsoft products (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word) and Internet ExplorerExcellent research, communication, organizational, and time management skills requiredAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressure requiredInterest in the Recruiting field and/or technology recruiting necessaryKnowledge of internet research strongly preferred (Boolean searches, Flipping, X-Ray)Experience utilizing creative research methodologies, including cold calling, a strong plus* Apply Salary/Benefits At SIG, our employees are our most valued assets.
