This position is available immediately for part-time hours, if available, and full-time hours through the summer.

POSITION PURPOSE: The Wireless Services Intern supports Fiserv’s enterprise-wide Cellular/Wireless Services program by ensuring the wireless products and/or services recommended, deployed, managed and supported for the Fiserv business units meet the financial and superior customer service guidelines.KNOWLEDGE DIMENSIONS: Wireless Voice & Data Technologies: Cellular, GSM, CDMA, EVDO, TDMA, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, 3G, HSDPA, Bluetooth, GPS, Active Sync, SMSIntegrated Voice/Data Solutions: RIM/Blackberry, BES, Windows Mobile 5.0, MS Exchange 2003/2007, Cellular AccessoriesRESPONSIBILITIES:
Under direct supervision,
Assist the Corporate Wireless Services Group in evaluating, analyzing and provisioning cellular & wireless products and services for our business units and company liable wireless users.
Act and execute in response to wireless requests, including activation or new service, cancellation of existing service, selection of preferred carrier, change of carrier, change of service type or change of equipment type to meet corporate standards and security policy.
Follow-up with appropriate carriers and/or vendors to ensure delivery of products and/or services, to meet established service level agreements with internal customers.
Review invoices from wireless carriers and/or vendors to ensure accuracy, completeness and prompt processing; submit corrections as needed.
Provide 1st level ‘help desk’ to assist company liable users with approved wireless products.
Assist with accurate monthly reporting of all company wireless users, their usage and optimizing their wireless plans to meet corporate financial goals for these users.
Assist with development and maintenance of wireless vendor reporting, ensuring optimal monthly reporting.
Update and edit responsibilities for the maintenance of Wireless Group intranet website.
Assist with the development of wireless product standards and services for the Corporate Wireless Services Group.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Education: Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business required. IT Focus preferred.Job Related Experience:Effective oral and written communication skills and human relation skills are required.Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: Some knowledge of wireless technology, cellular and data, vendors and their products and/or services.
Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and complete multiple projects under stringent deadlines and changes.
Able to work and use judgment independently.
Skilled communicator (spoken and written) with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with domestic and international internal/external users, vendors and service providers.
