Investment Advisor

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) is the national service organization dedicated to representing the national interests of cooperative electric utilities and the consumers they serve. NRECA is currently seeking an Investment Advisor to work in their Investments department.

 

The Investment Advisor is responsible for conducting financial seminars at various locations across the country, providing confidential retirement and investment guidance, and developing written retirement plans for NRECA’s national membership.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

• 6 – 8 years experience in the financial services industry, with specific knowledge of pension plans, retirement planning, asset allocation, education planning, and other financial planning concepts

• Experience conducting presentations and working with individuals on financial planning issues

• NASD Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting or economics

• Position requires up to 50% travel

• CFP certification preferred
