We are currently looking for an Investment Analyst to work in our Delaware office located in Wilmington, Delaware. As an Investment Analyst you will assist in managing the cash positions of Advanta Corp. and two of its subsidiaries, Advanta Bank and Advanta Bank Corp., to provide the optimal use of available funds and the fulfillment of current obligations.

ResponsibilitiesExecute Daily Cash Plots of transactions and reconcile the prior day’s cash flow for applicable entities. Execute short term investments for entities, including Federal Funds. Assist in executing money market liability transactions. Disburse, collect, and maintain record for cash flow between subsidiaries and affiliates.Prepare daily cash disbursement journal for the Corporate Accounting department. Assist in maintaining complex spreadsheet models requiring detailed macro program functions; perform regular liquidity forecast updates, perform daily reconciliation of forecast models to actual operating cash flows. Assist in preparing various monthly departmental reporting documents; act as a back-up to other department members; maintain policies; document procedures; participate with special projects. Manage professional relationships with outside brokers so that Advanta’s access to the various markets is maintained and reflect Advanta to the outside in a positive manner.Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.Three to five years Financial Services experience (banking, loan operations, treasury, accounting or cash management is extremely helpful).Strong PC skills/spreadsheet development.Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work with financial professionals both internally and externally.Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.High degree of personal flexibility.
