In this fast paced role you will play a key role in providing support to our local Investment Advisory office, including one of our top investment advisors on the East Coast. Primary responsibilities for this position include: - Support advisory staff with preparation and distribution of quarterly investment monitoring reports, mutual fund list requests and investment comparisons. - Respond to sales staff, plan sponsors and clients requests for collateral material, proposal preparation and written client communication. - Prepare documentation for investment changes, review for accuracy and prepare communications based on regulatory and/or client specific requirements. - Coordinate advisor partner events, seminars and enrollment meetings. Assist with research to resolve sales and service issues and data collection on investment funds. - Assist with enrollment meetings and communication as requested by advisory staff. - Provide general administrative support such as filing, back-up phone reception, travel arrangements and processing mail. To succeed in this exciting role you will need: - Minimum five years of experience in a sales support, administrative or customer support role or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. Prior experience in the financial services industry highly desirable. - Must be highly organized, detailed oriented and have excellent communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities. - Must be Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint skills and be able to learn new system applications. - Bachelor's degree or college coursework highly desirable, but not required. - Professional certification: NASD Series 6, 63, and 65 required within 6 months.
