Investment Operations Assistant

Our 150-year-old financial firm has an immediate employment opportunity for a registered Operations Assistant in our Investment Department. Job Description:

The Investment Operations Assistant will be responsible for assisting the operations team in performing the following: opening new investment accounts, entering trades, processing a multitude of request relating to investments, processing checks and check requests, track ACAT requests, ensure that prospectuses are current, etc.

 

Job Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have an understanding of investments, excellent written and oral communication and analytical skills.  The candidate must be organized and detailed oriented.  We are seeking an individual who is extremely client service and results oriented.  Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be energetic, driven, and possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.  The candidate must be a self-starter.

 

Education:

Bachelors degree in Finance or Mathematics or Business

NASD Registrations Recommended: Series 6 or 7 & Series 63 or 66 (or ability to obtain within first 60 days of employment).
