Investor Services Representative

TITLE: Investor Service RepresentativeLOCATION: Arlington, VA SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Investor Service Representative must work independently in a small company environment; answer customer inquiries regarding their brokerage account(s) and work closely with management and external clearing firm. The representative will oversee the daily operations of a full service brokerage firm. Responsibilities will include approving and processing new accounts, cashiering, reviewing customer's orders, reviewing exception reports and providing excellent customer service and support. DUTIES:Answer customer inquiries regarding account balances, trading inquiries, dividends, wires or checks paid/received, retirement accounts, new offerings and status of account transfersBecome proficient with back-office clearing system and customer administration system for customer account management, trading and reporting.Data entry, copying, filing and other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Basic knowledge of the financial services industry and one or more years experience in a customer service environment Must be diligent and meticulous with attention to detail Series 7 & 63 preferred Must have strong Microsoft Office knowledge FRIEDMAN, BILLINGS, RAMSEY & CO., INC IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
